In the summer of 2022 (fltr) Lora Davies, Laeticia Blättler and Caroline Froelich founded Moin Moin Productions.
We, three friends who had worked together in an institution and noticed that there is a great need for production work in the independent scene. Again and again, we have worked with artists without production management and realized that in order for artists to be able to focus on the creative aspects of their work in a relaxed way, they need support in the areas of financing, organization, public relations and diffusion. We joined forces because we enjoy working together and because individuals are often overburdened in the field of production. We would like to use the experience we have gained in institutions to work with the independent scene in a way that is profitable for both sides.
Laeticia and Caroline are active in the daily business of Moin Moin Production as producers and Lora is the president of the board and not active in the operating business.
Laeticia Blättler has a great interest in the local scene. Inclusion and accessibility for artists but also for the audience are matters of the heart for her. Laeticia finds joy in hard work but also in contact with a wide variety of people, which production work also involves. Laeticia studied cultural management. Her last stations were: Gessnerallee Zurich, Neubad Lucerne, Republic. Currently she works part-time as co-director of Stanser Musiktage and as production manager at Moin Moin Productions.
Caroline Froelich is passionate about international encounters. She enjoys speaking several languages and has already gained some work experience abroad. What a relaxed working reality with less production pressure could look like has been on her mind for a while. What she likes about production work is mediating at the intersection between art, programming and technology. Her last work stations were: Gessnerallee Zurich, Festival Theaterformen and some production assistantships for independent groups in Germany. Currently she works as a freelance production manager at Moin Moin Productions.
Dance, theater and performance provide Lora Davies with an avenue to engage with the complex issues of our time. She loves to immerse herself in a wide variety of worlds. What interests her about working with artists is the translation of artistic expression into understandable language. At Moin Moin Productions she is responsible for mediating between art and audience. Lora's background is in liberal arts and design. She studied textile design and cultural journalism. Her last stations were: Gessnerallee Zurich, Studio Pamela Rosenkranz, Ilai Architecture, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Currently she works part-time as head of media and public relations at Gessnerallee Zurich and is the president of the board at Moin Moin Productions but not part of the daily business.
We speak German, English, French and Spanish.
